Vacancy Description:

Open to all students from 6th form onwards, the PwC Insight Day is a one-day course designed to help you develop your overall business awareness and acumen, and hints and tips on our recruitment process as well as giving you an opportunity to get a taste of what it's like to work at PwC.

Using a combination of interactive teaching methods - such as participative business games - it will offer you a detailed look at the different types of work we do for our clients, and the responsibilities you would have should you join one of our programmes .

Who is it for?
The PwC Insight Day is an opportunity for school-leavers, undergraduates and graduates to find out more about our business and develop their skills. Whether you are still at school, university or you left some time ago, you will benefit from attending.

However, as this is your chance to find out about a career in professional services, it stands to reason that you should have an interest in the world of finance - in fact, it's essential. You also need to have a good academic record.

But don't think it's all about your grades. The PwC Insight Day takes place within a team-based environment, just as our other Insight programmes do, so we place just as much importance on your team-working skills, as your ability to show initiative.

What will you do?
Our business simulations and high-level case studies will have you rolling up your sleeves as we test and develop your team-working skills, your business acumen and how you react to a high-pressure environment. You'll also get the opportunity to talk to some of our recent joiners. They will be happy to give you the benefit of their experience and answer your questions, providing you with as much information about shaping a career at PwC as you can get.

How will you benefit?
Essentially, the aim of the day is to enable you to find out what we do, how we do it and how you can get your foot in the door.

You'll have the opportunity to network and find out what it's really like in professional services from the people in the know - our staff. And if that's not enough, we'll also help you to develop your overall communication and business skills.

When and where can you do it?
A number of PwC Insight Days are held throughout the year, at our offices up and down the country. View our current PwC Insight Days from our vacancy pages.
